Assembly Follows the Approved Jewelry Sample
Stone setting and component assembly are the stages where prepared metal parts become a complete jewelry product.
Velcena Jewelry handles assembly for fashion jewelry including earrings, necklaces, rings and jewelry sets, bracelets, brooches, charms, anklets and selected hair jewelry. Depending on the design, components may include CZ, glass stones, faux pearls, resin parts, chains, clasps, hooks, posts, pins, charms and other decorative or functional fittings.
Before assembly begins, the approved physical sample and confirmed specification are used as the reference for component position, size, connection method and overall appearance.
Products normally enter this stage after the required metal preparation, polishing and finishing steps in our Jewelry Production Process.
Stone and Decorative Component Preparation
Before stones or decorative parts are fitted, the correct component type, size, color and quantity should be confirmed against the approved sample.
Depending on the jewelry style, this may include:
- CZ or glass stones
- Faux pearls
- Resin components
- Decorative metal parts
- Charms or pendants
- Other approved components
The setting position and surrounding metal structure also need to match the design. A difference in stone size or component dimensions can affect alignment and the final appearance of the product.
Stone Setting and Decorative Assembly
For styles requiring stones, the setting work should hold each component securely while keeping the intended position and visual spacing.
Inspection during this stage can focus on:
- Missing stones
- Loose stones
- Uneven positioning
- Incorrect orientation
- Visible damage around the setting
- Differences from the approved sample
Products with multiple decorative parts may also require additional assembly before functional components are installed.
Chains, Clasps and Functional Components
Jewelry assembly is not limited to decorative work.
Necklaces and bracelets may require chain, clasp, extension chain, charm or pendant connections. Earrings can include posts, hooks, backs or hinged structures. Brooches require pin construction, while hair jewelry may include clips, springs or related functional parts.
These connections influence how the finished product performs in use, so assembly should be checked for fit, movement and secure attachment before final inspection.

Assembly Inspection Before Final QC
Completed assemblies are reviewed before the order moves to final inspection and packing.
Checks may include stone position, component alignment, clasp or pin function, connection points, overall structure and appearance. The finished piece should remain consistent with the approved sample rather than relying only on a general workmanship standard.
Final appearance, plating, function, logo and packing are then checked through our Quality Inspection process.
How Assembly Complexity Affects Production
Products with multiple stones, small components or more complicated functional structures can require additional assembly and inspection time.
Typical bulk production is around 25–35 days after sample approval, depending on quantity, construction, finishing, stone setting and packaging requirements.
For quotation, buyers should provide the jewelry reference, stone or decorative component requirements, functional structure, estimated quantity and approved sample information where available.
