Develop Jewelry Around a Clear Production Specification
Velcena Jewelry supports custom jewelry development for brands, wholesalers, importers, distributors and private-label buyers that need a design prepared for repeatable production rather than one-off retail customization.
A project can begin with a sketch, CAD file, reference photo, product link, existing sample or a clear design idea. We first review the product structure, dimensions, material, finish, decorative components, logo requirements and estimated order quantity. These details help determine whether the design can use an existing construction or requires additional CAD work, mold development or sample adjustment.
Our main development range includes earrings, necklaces, rings and jewelry sets, bracelets, hair jewelry, brooches, charms and anklets.
Design Review, CAD and Construction Confirmation
The first step is to turn the buyer’s reference into dimensions and construction that can be produced consistently.
For new designs, our team can prepare CAD or 3D models where required. This stage is used to review overall dimensions, component connections, stone positions, engraving areas and other structural details before a physical sample is made.
For simpler modifications to an existing style, full CAD development may not always be necessary. The required changes can instead be confirmed from measurements, reference images and an approved specification.

Confirm Materials, Finish and Decorative Details
Material and surface requirements should be defined before the approval sample is finalized because they can affect appearance, cost, MOQ and production method.
Our current fashion jewelry development range mainly uses zinc alloy, brass and stainless steel, with selected 925 sterling silver styles. Decorative options may include CZ, glass stones, faux pearls and resin components depending on the design.
Plating color, surface finish, stone appearance and related details are reviewed during sampling rather than being left for bulk production. More detailed choices can be reviewed through Material & Finish Customization.
Logo position, laser engraving or branded components should also be included in the development brief when they affect the jewelry itself.
Physical Sample, Revision and Approval
The physical sample is the main reference for custom jewelry bulk production.
Typical sampling takes around 7–15 days, depending on the design, mold requirement, material, plating, stone setting and finishing. When a sample is completed, buyers should review the points that will matter in the bulk order, including:
- Overall dimensions and proportions
- Material and component selection
- Plating color and surface appearance
- Stone or decorative component position
- Connection and functional parts
- Logo or engraving
- Overall workmanship
If a modification is required, the relevant dimensions or finish details should be updated before final approval.
From Approved Sample to Bulk Production
Once the sample and key specification are approved, they become the reference for production and inspection. Material, dimensions, plating, stones, logo and packaging should not be changed casually after this stage because late changes can affect cost and lead time.
Typical MOQ is around 100–300 pcs per style. New molds, deeper customization or special packaging normally require around 300–500 pcs or above. Standard bulk production usually takes around 25–35 days after sample approval, depending on quantity, construction, finishing and packaging requirements.
The approved design then moves into the relevant Jewelry Production Process, followed by inspection and packing.

A complete technical drawing is not required to start. A clear reference and target quantity are normally enough for us to identify the specifications that need confirmation before sampling.
