Packaging Planned Around the Jewelry and Sales Program
Velcena Jewelry supports private label packaging for jewelry brands, wholesalers, importers, distributors and retail programs that need finished products prepared for resale or distribution.
Available packaging can include OPP bags, jewelry cards, pouches, gift boxes, branded inserts and export cartons according to the approved order specification. The suitable format depends on the jewelry type, target presentation, order quantity and shipment requirements.
Packaging should be confirmed during product development rather than after bulk jewelry production has already started. Card dimensions, box construction and the way a necklace, earring, bracelet or ring is fixed inside the package can affect protection, packing efficiency and carton configuration.
Projects that combine packaging with new jewelry development can be coordinated through our Custom Jewelry Development process.
Jewelry Cards, Pouches and Gift Boxes
Different packaging formats solve different purchasing needs.
Jewelry cards are commonly used for earrings, necklaces and other retail-ready styles where product presentation and hanging or display requirements need to be considered. Pouches provide a compact branded option for selected products, while gift boxes offer more protection and a more structured presentation.
When a box or card is customized, we normally review:
- Packaging dimensions
- Jewelry fixing method
- Card or insert structure
- Logo or artwork position
- Product quantity per package
- Required labels or inserts
- Outer carton packing method
Jewelry branding applied directly to the product can be coordinated separately through Custom Logo & Branding.
Artwork and Packaging Sample Approval
Printed or branded packaging should be approved before bulk packing begins.
Buyers should provide the logo, artwork, required text and any relevant size or layout instructions. The artwork needs to match the actual packaging dimensions rather than being reviewed only as a digital design.
For custom cards, pouches, boxes or inserts, a packaging sample may be required before final approval. This allows the buyer to check logo position, color, fit and presentation together with the jewelry.
Where packaging is part of a new OEM project, it can be reviewed alongside the physical jewelry sample through our Custom Jewelry Sampling process.
Packing Protection and Bulk Consistency
Packaging must protect the jewelry as well as present the brand correctly.
During bulk packing, checks can cover the correct product, jewelry card or box, logo, insert, quantity and outer packing. Necklace chains and delicate decorative parts may require more careful positioning to reduce movement or tangling during shipment.
Export cartons are prepared according to the final packaging format and order quantity. Carton size and packing quantity should therefore be confirmed after the retail packaging is finalized.
MOQ, Timing and Quotation Details
Typical jewelry MOQ is around 100–300 pcs per style. Customized packaging, deeper branding or specially produced boxes may require around 300–500 pcs or above depending on the packaging construction and supplier requirements.
Custom packaging can also add preparation time for artwork, sampling and production. Standard jewelry bulk production is normally around 25–35 days after sample approval, while the final schedule should also allow for approved packaging to be ready before packing starts.
For quotation, please provide the jewelry type, quantity, preferred packaging format, logo or artwork, destination market and any required retail presentation details. If the packaging design is not finalized, reference photos are sufficient for an initial review.
