Production Starts from an Approved Reference
For OEM, private label and wholesale jewelry orders, bulk production should begin from a confirmed specification rather than only a reference photo.
Velcena Jewelry uses the approved physical sample together with confirmed details such as material, dimensions, plating, stones, components, logo and packaging as the production reference. This gives the production and inspection teams a clear standard for the order.
Our manufacturing range includes earrings, necklaces, rings and jewelry sets, bracelets, hair jewelry, brooches, charms and anklets. The exact production route varies according to the material and construction, so not every jewelry style follows exactly the same steps.
Material and Component Preparation
Before production starts, the required base material and components are prepared according to the approved specification.
Depending on the product, this may include metal parts, chains, findings, clasps, stones, faux pearls, resin pieces or other decorative components. Components must match the required dimensions and construction before they enter assembly.
For styles requiring new shapes or metal structures, mold preparation, casting or forming may be involved. More detailed information on these stages is available through Casting & Metal Forming.
Casting, Forming and Structural Preparation
Selected jewelry styles are produced through casting or metal-forming processes, while others use prepared chains, stamped or formed components and assembled findings.
After the main structure is produced, excess material, edges and connection points are prepared for the next stage. Depending on the design, spot welding, trimming or preliminary assembly may also be required.
Dimensions and structural details are checked against the approved sample before surface finishing begins.
Polishing, Cleaning and Surface Preparation
Surface preparation has a direct effect on the final jewelry appearance.
Polishing helps remove rough areas, improve edge condition and prepare the metal surface for the required finish. Poor surface preparation can remain visible after plating, especially on polished or highly reflective jewelry.

Plating, Stone Setting and Assembly
After the jewelry structure and surface are prepared, the required plating or finishing specification is applied according to the approved sample.
Color and overall appearance should remain consistent with the confirmed sample. Plating requirements vary according to the base material and product design, so the process is reviewed by project rather than treated as one standard finish for every order.
Styles with CZ, glass stones, faux pearls or other decorative components then move through the required setting or assembly work. Chains, clasps, charms, earring parts and other functional components are also assembled where applicable.

Final Inspection and Packing
Before packing, finished jewelry is checked against the approved sample and order specification.
Inspection points may include:
- Dimensions and overall structure
- Surface and plating appearance
- Stone setting and decorative components
- Clasp, post, pin or other functional parts
- Logo or engraving
- Correct packaging and quantity
Packing may include OPP bags, jewelry cards, pouches, gift boxes, branded inserts and export cartons according to the approved order.
Typical bulk production is around 25–35 days after sample approval, depending on quantity, construction, finishing, stone setting and packaging requirements.
