Jewelry Manufacturing for B2B Production Programs
Velcena Jewelry manufactures fashion jewelry for jewelry brands, wholesalers, importers, distributors, retail chains and private-label programs. Our main production range includes earrings, necklaces, rings and jewelry sets, bracelets, hair jewelry, brooches, charms and anklets.
The production facility in Suxi Town, Yiwu includes around 6,800 m² of production, sample-development, finishing, inspection and packing space. About 120–150 employees support development and manufacturing across six main production lines.
Typical monthly capacity is around 250,000–350,000 pcs, although actual output depends on jewelry construction, finishing, stone setting, quantity and packaging requirements.
For custom orders, manufacturing begins only after the key product specification and approval sample are confirmed.
Approved Sample and Production Preparation
The approved physical sample is the main reference used before bulk production starts.
Our team reviews the confirmed material, dimensions, plating, decorative components, logo, structure and packaging requirement before production planning. If CAD or 3D development was required during sampling, those files are also used to support production preparation.
This step is important because two jewelry styles that look similar can require different manufacturing methods. A cast zinc-alloy pendant, stainless steel chain bracelet and decorative hair accessory do not follow exactly the same process.

Casting, Forming and Component Preparation
Depending on the product and material, production may involve casting, metal forming, component preparation, trimming, welding or other structural work before finishing.
Casting is used for selected styles where the required shape and construction are suitable for that process. Other designs may use formed components, chains, findings or prepared metal parts that are assembled later.
During this stage, dimensions, component matching and structure need to remain consistent with the approved sample. New molds or more complex shapes can also affect MOQ, preparation time and overall production schedule.

Polishing, Surface Finishing and Plating
After the main structure is prepared, selected jewelry moves through polishing and surface-finishing work.
Polishing affects surface smoothness, edge condition and the final appearance of the plated or finished jewelry. Scratches, rough areas or inconsistent preparation can become more visible after plating, so the surface should be checked before the next finishing stage.
Plating color and surface appearance are followed against the approved sample. The exact process varies according to base material and product requirement.

Stone Setting, Assembly and Branding
Jewelry with CZ, glass stones, faux pearls, resin or other decorative components requires additional assembly or setting work according to the design.
Important points include stone position, alignment, component connection and overall structure. Necklaces and bracelets may also require chain, clasp, charm or pendant assembly, while earrings, brooches and hair jewelry have different functional components that need to be checked.
Laser engraving can be applied to approved products where the structure and surface allow it. The factory uses laser engraving machines and spot welders for relevant production and branding operations.
Quality Inspection Before Packing
Inspection is carried out through production and again before final packing.
Checks can include incoming materials, first pieces, dimensions, appearance, plating, stone setting, function, logo and packaging. The approved sample and confirmed specification are used as the reference rather than relying only on visual judgment.
For example, necklace inspection may focus on length, clasp and pendant connection, while rings require size and setting checks. Brooches and hair jewelry require more attention to pin, clip or functional construction.

Packing, Warehouse and Shipment Preparation
After final inspection, jewelry is packed according to the approved order specification.
Packing may include OPP bags, jewelry cards, pouches, gift boxes, branded inserts and export cartons. The correct style, quantity, logo, packaging component and carton configuration are checked before shipment preparation.
Orders can be prepared for EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF or DDP shipment. Ningbo and Shanghai are the main ports used for overseas orders.
Typical bulk production is around 25–35 days after sample approval, depending on quantity, product construction, finishing and packaging requirements.

For a more accurate production plan and quotation, buyers should provide the jewelry style, approved design or reference, material, dimensions, quantity, plating, decorative components, logo and packaging requirement.
For custom projects, we recommend confirming the physical sample before bulk production. Once the specification is approved, production, inspection and packing can follow the same reference throughout the order.
