Add Brand Details to the Jewelry Itself
For private label jewelry programs, branding should be confirmed as part of product development rather than added after the jewelry design is already finalized.
Velcena Jewelry supports custom logo and branding requirements for jewelry brands, wholesalers, importers, distributors and retail programs. Depending on the product structure, branding may involve laser engraving, a logo position on a pendant or metal component, a branded tag or another approved identification detail.
The available area, metal surface and product dimensions affect how clearly a logo can be reproduced. Small earrings, thin charms or narrow bracelet components may require a simplified mark, while larger pendants or tags provide more space for lettering or symbols.
For new products that still require structural development, branding should be reviewed together with the Custom Jewelry Development process.
Artwork, Size and Position Confirmation
A clear artwork file helps us evaluate whether the logo can be reproduced at the required size.
Before sampling, we normally confirm:
- Logo artwork or brand mark
- Required logo size
- Engraving or marking position
- Orientation
- Available surface area
- Product dimensions
- Expected visual effect
A logo that looks clear on a computer screen may become difficult to read when reduced to a few millimeters. For this reason, position and scale should be reviewed against the actual jewelry dimensions.
If the logo requires a new component, tag or mold-related change, this should be confirmed before sample production.
Laser Engraving and Branded Components
Laser engraving is suitable for selected metal surfaces where the design and available area allow a clean result. It can be used for brand names, simple logos, symbols or identification marks depending on the jewelry construction.
For products where direct engraving is not practical, a separate branded tag or logo component may be considered. Charms, necklaces and bracelets often provide more flexibility for this type of branding than very small earrings or narrow structures.
The final solution should be selected according to the product, not simply because a specific branding process is preferred.
Sample the Logo Before Bulk Production
Branding should be checked on the physical sample before mass production starts.
Important approval points include:
- Logo clarity
- Size and proportion
- Position
- Orientation
- Engraving depth or appearance
- Surface condition around the logo
- Consistency with the approved artwork
If two logo sizes or positions are being considered, side-by-side samples are useful for final selection. The approved sample then becomes the reference for bulk production.
More detailed physical sample confirmation is covered on our Custom Jewelry Sampling page.
How Branding Can Affect MOQ and Lead Time
Typical MOQ is around 100–300 pcs per style. If branding requires a new mold, special component or deeper custom development, the MOQ may increase to around 300–500 pcs or above.
Sampling normally takes around 7–15 days depending on the jewelry design, logo method, mold requirement and finishing. Standard bulk production is usually around 25–35 days after sample approval.
Late changes to artwork, logo size or position can require a revised sample and may affect the production schedule.
What We Need for a Branding Review
Please send the jewelry reference, logo artwork, preferred logo position, estimated quantity and any specific branding requirement.
Vector artwork is preferred where available, but a clear reference can also be reviewed at the initial stage. We can then advise which details need to be confirmed before sampling and quotation.
