Custom Jewelry Development for B2B Buyers
Velcena Jewelry supports OEM and private label development for jewelry brands, wholesalers, importers, distributors and retail programs. Projects can start from a drawing, reference photo, existing sample, product link or a new collection idea. Material, Plating, Size and Style Options
A custom jewelry quotation depends on more than the product shape. Material, dimensions, plating, decorative components and construction can all change sampling requirements, tooling cost, MOQ and production time.
We normally confirm the base material first, followed by dimensions, structure and finish. Plating color and surface appearance are matched during sampling according to the approved design and order requirement. Stone type, faux pearl, resin or other decorative parts are also confirmed before the sample becomes the production reference.
Size adjustments are handled according to the product. Necklace projects may involve chain length and pendant dimensions, while rings require size and width confirmation. Earrings may require diameter, drop length or post construction, and bracelets may involve chain length, bangle diameter or charm configuration.

Logo, Engraving and Brand Details
Private label projects often require the jewelry itself and the presentation to follow the buyer’s brand specification. Depending on the design, we can review laser engraving, logo position, branded tags and related identity details before sample approval.
Logo artwork should be supplied in a clear file where possible. Position, size and orientation need to be confirmed before production because a small change can affect engraving clarity, tooling or the available surface area on the jewelry.

Sample Development and Pre-Production Approval
For custom programs, the physical sample is the main reference for bulk production. Drawings and CAD files help define the design, but material, finish, dimensions and assembly still need to be checked on the actual sample.
Where required, our team can prepare CAD or 3D work before producing the physical approval sample. Typical sampling takes around 7–15 days, depending on design complexity, mold requirements, material, plating, stone setting and finishing.

Private Label Packaging
Packaging should be confirmed at the same stage as the jewelry specification, especially for retail chains and branded collections. Available options include OPP bags, jewelry cards, pouches, gift boxes, branded inserts and export cartons according to the order requirement.
Packaging affects more than presentation. Box size, card dimensions, insert structure and packing quantity can influence MOQ, carton size, protection during shipment and final production timing. For customized boxes or printed materials, artwork and packaging samples may need approval before bulk packing starts.
MOQ, Bulk Production and Lead Time
Typical MOQ is around 100–300 pcs per style. Projects involving new molds, deeper customization or special packaging generally start from around 300–500 pcs or above. Final MOQ depends on the product construction, material, finish, components and packaging requirement.
After sample approval, standard bulk production normally takes around 25–35 days. Production follows the approved sample and confirmed specification, with checks covering dimensions, appearance, plating, stone setting, function, logo and packing.
These timings are planning references rather than fixed promises. More complex finishing, special components, larger quantities or customized packaging can require additional time.
